Friday Reflection - Camp and nature

Dear Campers, Families and Friends, It is hard to believe it's already the last day of camp. As campers work on their final activities (with the pirate theme this week!) this final post highlights the beauty and nature of camp. We are truly blessed to be hosted at the phenomenally breathtaking Camp Wenonah. In addition to the incredible staff and leaders at camp, the beauty that abounds instills awe, creativity and calmness. We are so thankful to Jeff Bradshaw, Rudy, Caron, Dan and the entire amaxing team at wenonah. On behalf of our team, Christina, Emily and I and all the volunteers, nurses, doctors and  committed supporters, we thank you for entrusting with your remarkable children to us for the week.  While planning for camp happens all year, the energy and hard work of the team on site ensures the safety and smooth operations, as well as a warm, caring and compassionate place to just have fun! It's hard to say goodbye when we only just said hello. Yet, in one week we have seen the campers grow and friendships blossom. Whether it was trying a new activity, a first swim in the lake, canoeing, fishing (it was a tremendous week for fishing!!), capture the flag, cheering and singing in the lunch room, competing, helping one another, or getting on stage in front of the whole camp to share what camp means to them... these were magical moments that touch our hearts.  We hope you will cherish the memories that will last forever!! Here are a few pictures that show the beauty of camp.... IMG_2279 IMG_2290 IMG_2296 IMG_2354 IMG_2332 IMG_2346 IMG_2352 IMG_2355 IMG_2359
