A note to our campers

Dear Kivita Campers,

By now you know that Camp Kivita will not be happening this summer due to Covid-19.  As always, your health and safety and that of your families is our very top priority. We know you were very excited to meet new friends and to catch up with our returning campers.  We will deeply miss your smiles and laughter, watching you try new activities, splashing with you at the waterfront, enjoying the excitement of early morning fishing, dining hall sing alongs and cheers, seeing your amazing arts and crafts and most especially witnessing the deep friendships and connections you make with one another.   Our transplant and camp community is strong and full of support for one another.

While we know that you are strong and resilient, we join you in feeling very sad and disappointed as it’s important to acknowledge that this is a loss for all of us.

Please know that we are committed to Camp Kivita for Summer 2021 and are excited to see everyone of you then!  We will continue our planning to ensure it is the very best summer yet!  Please take care of yourselves and your families.  If you want to talk or need any further support please email us anytime at campkivita@gmail.com and we will be in touch!
